Deep Research: a cited report from many sources

For big questions: dozens of searches, a Word report and a summary.

Deep Research is for questions that need many sources: markets, comparisons, policies, studies and trends.

Start it

  • In the chat, press Research under the message box, type your question and send, or
  • open Cowork, choose Deep Research and press Start task.

What you get

  • A live plan, every search and every page it read.
  • A Word report with an executive summary, sections, tables, key takeaways and numbered [1] [2] citations with a source list.
  • A spreadsheet when the topic has numbers.
  • A summary of the main findings in the chat.

It usually takes a few minutes. Deep Research counts towards your daily Cowork tasks (10 a day).

Code GPT never invents numbers or quotes on purpose, but always check important facts in the sources.
