Memory: what Code GPT remembers about you
Saved notes help every chat feel personal. You can view and delete them.
When you share lasting details (your job, your studies, your city, how you like answers), Code GPT saves a short note. It uses your notes in future chats, so you do not have to repeat yourself. When it saves something, it tells you in the answer.
Manage your memory
Open Customize › Memory to:
- see every note,
- add a note yourself,
- delete any note,
- turn automatic memory off.
You can also say Forget that I live in Lahore in a chat, or delete it on the Memory page.
Memory never saves passwords, card numbers or ID numbers. Your memory is private to your account and is also used in the Chrome and VS Code extensions.
