Your first chat: a quick tour
The message box, modes, the Web button and the model menu explained.
After you log in, you see the message box. Type a question and press Enter (on a phone, press the send arrow).
The buttons under the message box
- + attaches pictures, PDFs and text or code files.
- Chat / Code / Image / Tutor / Research choose what Code GPT does: — Chat for normal questions and writing. — Code for programming help: complete code with explanations. — Image to create or edit pictures. — Tutor for step-by-step help with studies. — Research for a full, cited report (Deep Research).
- Web lets Code GPT search the internet. Leave it on for news, prices and current facts.
- Fast / Balanced / Advanced chooses the quality and speed of answers.
- The sound wave button starts voice mode.

Copy, read aloud, try again (regenerate), and thumbs up or down. Your rating helps us improve.
