Log in and email codes on new devices
Why Code GPT sends a code the first time you use a new phone or browser.
Go to the log-in page and enter your email and password.
Why do I get a code?
The first time you log in on a new browser or device, we email you a 6-digit code. This stops anyone who learns your password from getting into your account. After you type the code once, that browser is trusted and will not ask again.
You will be asked again if you:
- use a different browser, phone or computer,
- clear your browser's cookies,
- use a private / incognito window.
Stay logged in
You stay logged in on a trusted device. To log out, open the menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Log out.
